Chengdu University of Technology
Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT, ) is a Chinese state university co-constructed by the Ministry of Land and Resources of China and Sichuan Province, China. The university is located in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. ==History==
Chengdu Institute of Geology, the predecessor of Chengdu University of Technology, was founded in 1956, based on the combination of related faculties of Nanjing University, Chongqing University, Northwest University, China University of Geosciences, etc. In 1993, Chengdu Institute of Geology was renamed as Chengdu Institute of Technology. Chengdu Institute of Geology (Technology) was a ministerial key university(affiliated to the Ministry of Land and Resources of China) before 2000. In 2001, Chengdu Institute of Technology amalgamated with two provincial colleges and formed Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT). It is now a key university co-constructed by the Ministry of Land and Resources of China and Sichuan Province of China.
